wal·let (n.)
A flat pocket-sized folding case, usually made of leather, for holding paper money, cards, or photographs; a billfold.

One Man and his Wallet is a shrine to one of the most used pieces of equipment in a man's trousers. The wallet is far more than just something you keep money and cards in, it is an extension of the man it belongs to. In a modern world where everything has to be miniaturised and disposable, men all over the world are rebelling by filling their wallets with receipts, old pictures, old cards, news paper clippings, foreign currency and many more important items. They all may have a use one day and that is what our wallets are for. It is to keep a record of our lives, our own handmade shrine to our existence. The fatter the wallet, the fuller the man.

So One Man and his Wallet has been set up to record these testaments to man. Simply use the form below to submit a picture of your wallet, with your name and a brief description of the contents. If you have an interesting Wallet related story put that in as well. Share your Wallet with the world and rejoice in your own manliness.

Description: Only in America can you find a wallet the size of a credit card, because money and credit cards are the same size. Sadly, minimalism comes at a price, so just a couple of cards and ID have the privilege of the pocket. Meanwhile, $1 bills are a menace to society. With a handful you feel rich, yet still remain unable to buy anything useful. Herein I shall begin the campaign for retiring Washington's head to copper.
